2008 Follow-Up: Segil Fine Art at the Falkner
Winery in Temecula |

I
enjoyed the paint – out at Falkner
Vineyards tremendously. I joined
approximately 25 other artists including Frank Serrano, Lynne Fearman
(see this month’s Southwest Art as Lynne is featured as a collectors’
choice) and Margot Lenartz. Luckily despite the hot weather there was a
constant cool breeze across the veranda. Although my painting came out a
little less then I was striving for I made some new friends and learned
a couple of tricks to put away in my French easel.
More good news, Colorado Bridge #3 sold this week.

8, 2008-New Artwork |
|
I have finished my third view of the
Colorado Bridge (see above) and a smaller 11 x 14 of the path to the
bridge. I have a plein air of The Mission at San Juan Capistrano and
another 11 x 14 of a Paso Robles winery.
Also, I have just
started a view of the Federal Courthouse over looking the Arroyo Seco in
Pasadena. |
